This summer I will be studying abroad and traveling in Europe. This blog is to collect my thoughts, keep in touch with friends and family, and reflect on my adventures.
Lauren: Your point about learning to cooperate or rely on others is an important lesson to be learned from study abroad. Whether being part of a group or interacting with people you don’t know, it is really important to be able to appreciate their point of view and to try to learn something from them. I’m glad you touched on this point. OK, for your last entry, I want you to report on an experience that really exercises one of the competencies that you feel you need to develop. First, you have to really believe you need to develop a particular competency. Then, try to make the experience more intentional so that you “push” yourself more deliberately and for longer. I will leave it to you as to figure how to go about this. Looking forward to your final VLog! David
